This invention describes a fluid bed granulator as a vertical cylindrical vessel consisting of a lower and upper compartment separated by a funnel shaped partition having numerous holes. Solid seeds are fed into the upper compartment together with a liquid to be incorporated onto the seeds, which is injected by a nozzle. Inert gas blows through the holes of the partition plate upwardly. This patent in fact describes the principle of a fluid bed granulator.
