TUBACEX is an industrial group founded in 1963 dedicated to the manufacture of seamless tubes of stainless steel and high nickel alloys and superalloys, with headquarters in Llodio (Alava, Spain). TUBACEX Group is a multinational leader in its sector with industry facilities in Spain, Austria Italy, India and the United States, as well as a network of sales offices throughout the world.

TUBACEX is one of the leading global producers of stainless steel and high nickel alloys seamless tubes, and one of the few with an integrated production process: steelmaking, hot extrusion and cold rolling or drawing of the tubes. The existence of a steel melting plant in the group gives enormous flexibility in the production of tubes, hence the possibility of special castings and reduced delivery times for urgent orders.

The Group has a commercial network that distributes its products worldwide. TUBACEX’s main demand sectors of the tubes are Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical and Fertilizer, while also addressing its production to mechanical, aerospace, power, water desalination, electronics, capital equipment and new technology, among other sectors. TUBACEX has a staff of approximately 2,400 people from twenty nationalities and distributed in more than 15 countries.

TUBACEX has strongly invested in new facilities focused on higher added value products. Schoeller Bleckmann Edelstahlrohr, a subsidiary of TUBACEX GROUP sited in Austria, is experienced in tube manufacturing for the Fertilizer industry and nowadays holds a state of the art plant to meet the demanding requirements for this Industry, offering a wide product range for the Urea and Nitric Acid Market.
