Toyo Engineering Corporation (TOYO, President and CEO Eiji Hosoi) is pleased to announce the award of a Technical Advisory Contract by Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), the state-owned oil and gas company of Bolivia. This contract is focused on improving the operations of YPFB’s urea plant, located in Bulo Bulo, Cochabamba Department, through the application of TOYO’s innovative DX-PLANT™ service.
As the licensor of the urea process technology, TOYO brings a wealth of expertise to this collaboration. YPFB’s urea plant, originally constructed using TOYO’s advanced urea technology, is set to benefit significantly from the integration of DX-PLANT™’s sophisticated applications. tools, embedded with TOYO’s deep technical knowledge, are designed to optimize and enhance plant operations. DX-PLANT™ integrates specialized applications with real-time communication, enabled through a remote monitoring system. This comprehensive solution allows TOYO to offer robust support for the advanced and efficient operation of YPFB’s urea plant.
First launched in 2017 at the urea plant operated by PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang (PUSRI), a subsidiary of the state-owned Indonesian fertilizer company, PT Pupuk Indonesia, DX-PLANT™ is a cloud-based plant operation support service. It harnesses TOYO’s Extensive engineering expertise, honed through years of experience in petrochemical industry. DX-PLANT™ has since been successfully implemented in several chemical plants including those producing urea and ethylene.
