Nano Urea in India will replace 25% of imported urea in 2025
NEW DELHI: With the production of 170 million bottles of nano urea, around ₹15,000-20,000 crore could be saved on urea imports, Union fertilizer secretary Arun Singhal said.
“Achieving 100% replacement of urea with nano-urea by 2025 may not be possible as farmers have their own pace. However, we are certain that 25% replacement will be done by the set time. This will save around ₹15,000-20,000 crore on imports annually”
