      In addition the most common problems during start up :

      – CO2 reversal.
      – Losing of level indication of the Reactor or Stripper.
      – Chocking of process important lines.
      – Any of the synthesis control valves malfunctioning.

          How to monitor these material & making sure of the Oxide layer formation ?

                When it comes to the hp start up & raising the pressure, that would system would contain amount of Co2 & air which it took more than 2 hours of pressurizing..
                Comparatively in LP start up you are loosing it..

                Doesn’t it make sense?

                    I absolutely agree with what norozi said ”
                    As you know the carbamate formation is an exothermic reaction and if the pressure of steam drum decrease .More CO2 and NH3 will be condensed and finally total partial pressure of the gasses in the synthesis decrease .In this case the pressure of the synthesis will be decreasd. and vice versa ”

                    In addition the drums pressure has also slight effect on the Reactor level, as the drum pressure increases, more heat is supplied to the endothermic urea reaction, which results in yielding more urea and ultimately higher Reactor level, and vice versa,

                      Dear friend

                      As far as i know, the purpose of this line is to maintain minimum solution to the ejector, in case carbamte pump trips.

                      If you have frequent flange leak at this line, flange can be removed and the can connected directly without a flange.

                        Dear friend,

                        If you reached minimum bucket speed and still have product size problem,
                        seek for assistant from Rotary or Electrical staff,
                        there must be a way to reduce the bucket speed further.

                          Dear Mark,

                          Max 0.5 kg pressure is applied to make sure that the gab between the Stainless layer & Carbon steel pressure layer is clear & leak detection system is intact.

                          Back to the question, what is the max. pressure used for air air pressure test in a Heat exchanger for instant, HPCC or HP scrubber.

                            Dear Ahmad,

                            To avoid high carbamate concentration in the recovery section ,

                            1- As much as possible go for NH3 side.
                            2- Carry out Carbamate local solidification tests, at pump suction.
                            3- maintain CW, for LPCC at slightly higher temperature.
                            4- Dilute carbamate concentration of the recovery section.

                              As of our experience the applied pressure for Air pressure test is 1/4 the design pressure at the shell side,

                              If any one has the equation for this type of test, please !

                                Dear M. Faroq

                                It is not possible to carry out CO2 pressure test to identify leaky tube of Heat Exchanger,
                                CO2 pressure pressure test is used to identify HP loop leaks,
                                Therefore, to locate a particular leaky tube in Heat exchanger you need to go for HPT, NH3, Helium or Inst Air test,

                                  My question was not about Synthesis loop pressure test, it was about instrument air pressure value at shell side of Heat Exchanger to identify leaky tube in HPCC or HP scrubber for instant,
