Prilling installations
KREBER has been producing prilling machines for more than 60 years. Prilling is a technique for the production of small granules (prills) with a diameter of a few millimetres and is mostly applied in the fertilizer and (petro)chemical industry. The technique used by Kreber provides high quality and pure prills, which are extremely resistant to degradation through bulk transport owing to their robustness.
Scope of supply
KREBER calculates, designs and delivers turnkey prilling installations for the production of urea, ammonium nitrate (AN), nitro phosphate (NP & NPK), ammonium nitro phosphate (ANP), sodium hydroxide (NaOH), bisphenol-A (BPA) and calcium ammonium nitrate (CaAN). Capacities vary from 75 tonnes to 4,000 tonnes per day.
A typical prilling installation consists of a prilling tower, a prilling machine, a prilling bucket, a scraper, a conveying system and a filtration system. The entire installation must be able to operate explosion safely (EX). KREBER supplies all you need for both the entire installation, the components and the spare parts. KREBER also supplies parts and conversion kits for old ‘Bronswerk’ prilling machines.
