Nutrients and root development
Nutrients impact root growth & development: Amazing complexity! Plant nutrients are taken up by roots as ions – mediated by specific transport proteins. The root tips sense their external and internal nutrient concentration in order to adjust root growth and development. The nutrient environment thereby increases or decreases the extent that roots explore the soil. Nice review by Herrera et al reports that NO3 stimulates elongation of lateral roots, NH4 prompts more lateral formation, P deficiency inhibits primary root growth …
BakerRisk Material Science
BakerRisk characterizes materials and identify causes of failure in our San Antonio Laboratory using state of the art microscopes.
GEROLDINGER Oszillomat
By the use of our Oszillomat a perfect silo discharge and dosing will be realized. Problems for example bridging, clumping, caking or fluidization are things of the past. Perfect dosing of cohesive powders = Oszillomat!

Corroded tray clip
This is an old design clip, which is difficult to weld and inspect properly. Nowadays the licensors apply other clip trays designs.
Producing NH3 via SWAP
University of Tokyo
Summary: Ammonia — a colorless gas essential for things like fertilizer — can be made by a new process which is far cleaner, easier and cheaper than the current leading method. Researchers use readily available lab equipment, recyclable chemicals and a minimum of energy to produce ammonia. Their Samarium-Water Ammonia Production (SWAP) process promises to scale down ammonia production and improve access to ammonia fertilizer to farmers everywhere
