Global primary energy consumption prediction until 2050
Some positivity to start 2021: the hydrogen economy is taking off! Especially green ammonia synthesis is expected to grow by over four orders of magnitude in the upcoming decade based on recently announced projects, and will likely account for at least 1% of the total energy production worldwide by 2050.
Note: Traditional biomass, coal and natural gas are not shown in the Figure below. The future demands are based on the BP stated policy scenario.
