BakerRisk: Ammonia and Fertilizer Joint Industry Program – Identification of Damage Mechanisms and Mitigation Options
In August, 2023, BakerRisk was a sponsor and participant at the 67th Safety in Ammonia Plants and Related Facilities Symposium in Munich, Germany. BakerRisk gave three presentations at the Symposium.
Corrosion Damage Mechanism Review and Mitigation Methodology for Urea Equipment API RP 586 Inspections for HTHA and API 941 Remaining Life Prediction Methodologies Green Hydrogen and Ammonia: Safety Impacts in a Changing World
BakerRisk also hosted a meeting for our Ammonia and Fertilizer Joint Industry Program (JIP): Identification of Damage Mechanisms and Mitigation Options. This JIP, initiated in 2020, includes twelve member companies with over 80 participants, and is focused on improving the reliability, mechanical integrity and safety of ammonia and fertilizer production facilities. JIP meetings are held during the year and a comprehensive final report is issued to the members for each study topic. Click here for more information about the JIP.
