The 2026 conference will be at Warwick University, Coventry, UK on 30 September to 1 October, 2026
The 2026 conference will be a combined technical and agronomic event, as has been the case since 2022. There are presentations both for delegates with crop nutrition and fertiliser production interests, as well as some of interest to both. Whilst most people will choose either the agronomic or technical aspects of the conference, delegates are free to attend whichever session they wish.
This blend of topics and delegates provides unique opportunities to meet, discuss topics of common interest and build relationships with people working in all different parts of the fertiliser and crop nutrition supply chain. IFS is possibly unique in this!
The Conference will feature 20 papers; eight cover topics of interest to those involved with crop nutrition, a further eight are of interest to those involved with fertiliser production, while four offer topics of interest to all.
One of the joint-interest papers will be the presentation by the 2026 recipient of the Kish Shah Safety Award. This year’s recipient has been instrumental in developing an enviable safety culture in a location with little industrial history; the messages should resonate for all, whether involved in manufacturing or agriculture.
