Toyo Engineering Corporation (TOYO), a global leading engineering contractor and urea process licensor, has developed a system for the digital transformation of plants (DX-PLANT™) aimed at maximizing client revenue and minimizing costs by leveraging TOYO’s engineering expertise in chemical process technology and operations for industrial plants. Through DX-PLANT™, TOYO creates a “digital twin”, a virtual plant synchronized with an actual plant based on big data collected from industrial plants. Development of DX-PLANT™ was commenced in 2016, and the lineup of solutions was already introduced at Nitrogen + Syngas 2021. Since then, TOYO has continuously developed the necessary capabilities to provide technical advisory services using DX-PLANT™. Specifically, TOYO has been preparing solutions that enable it to offer high-quality services quickly and efficiently, such as automated reporting, enhanced RCA (Root Cause Analysis) through anomaly detection, and plant performance diagnostics via automated simulator calculations. As a recent achievement, in August 2024, TOYO signed contract to provide technical advisory services utilizing DX-PLANT™. Additionally, TOYO has begun initiatives to utilize data through generative AI, aiming to further enhance our services.
This article presents the evolved services of DX-PLANT™.
