ACES21-LPTM is TOYO’s latest urea synthesis technology, featuring the lowest synthesis pressure of 136 barG and the highest CO2 conversion among the latest commercial processes. The first commercial project of ACES21-LPTM is now in the engineering stage. g-UreaTM, “carbon neutral (or negative) urea process utilizing renewable energy and feedstock” is rapidly evolving. After two options for smaller-scale g-UreaTM, Scaled-down ACES21TM (less OPEX) and Advanced Total Recycle Process (less CAPEX) were presented in Nitrogen+Syngas 2024, TOYO has carried out further studies for the two options, focusing on energy flows and economic analysis of g-UreaTM. The studies review practical approaches to small-to-medium scale urea production in green environment, offering fresh
eyes as a distinguished urea technology provider. As part of renovating vintage urea plants, TOYO recently completed three projects: two projects replacing existing reactors of a Total Recycle C Improved urea plant (45 years old) and an ACES urea plant (30 years old), and one project replacing a conventional CO2 stripping process (ACES) stripper with an improved ACES21TM stripper. These projects demonstrated excellent performance and reduced energy consumption
