At one of the urea production complexes, process problems occurred in the second stage of the evaporation section. These problems were associated with the difficulties of maintaining a stable vacuum, both during operation and during the start-up of the section after a shutdown. During the overhaul period, a more detailed study was carried out and the physical defects of the internal devices of the vacuum ejection system were identified.
