2004 Mennen Stamicarbon 2004-0116743 Urea Process

A method for the preparation of urea in which a part of the formed urea solution from the reactor in the synthesis section is processed in a high-pressure CO2 stripper operated at a similar pressure as the synthesis operating pressure and partly is directed to a recovery section operating at a medium pressure. The process is known as MEGA concept.
