1978 Mavrovic 4088684 Urea Process

This invention describes a urea process with a liquid carbamate recycle, in which the reactor effluent is divided into a major and a minor stream. The major stream is reduced in pressure and then subjected to carbamate decomposition and an ammonia separation stage. The minor flow is reduced in pressure and then combined with the decomposer off gas in which the major stream was treated.
