1948 Frejacques The theoretical basis of the industrial synthesis of urea

This study reviews the equilibria involved in the formation and dehydration of ammonium carbamate, the thermal effects and rates of these reactions, and finally the solubilities and vapor pressures of the quaternary CO2-NH3-Urea_water system. The most important examples are the development of the various operation modes employed in the synthesis of urea from the CO2 and ammonia.
